About Me

I’m a California native now living in Washington DC. I started this travel blog to share my adventures and encourage others to do the same.

I am a humanitarian (Aquarius), video gamer, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) Practitioner. I spent nearly a decade working with marginalized communities, from homeless services to juvenile justice and foster care. Community building, cultural immersion, and diving into new experiences fuels me. But for so long I didn’t feel empowered to beyond my comfort zone and see more than the Bay Area. With a new vision for myself in mind, I am intentional about treating myself to travel and lasting memories.

That said, starting this blog wasn’t a random decision; it was a conscious choice to document my journey of growth and self-discovery and to show that traveling changes us for the better. I believe that traveling equips us with the most valuable skills. empathy. Learning about other cultures, subcultures, food, and ways of life opens your heart in a way that cannot be expressed.

I hope to inspire you to dream big and realize that your goals and plans are achievable. It’s not about wealth, identity, or experience—I’m living proof that anyone can roll the dice and find exciting journeys as long as you stay inspired.
